Tis The Season To Be Jolly...

…and what better way to be jolly, than to prance around looking sparkly and glamorous in glitter and sequins. Just look at how happy Marylin is in her floor-sweeping red sequin number! Having been in the festive spirit for a good few months (slight understatement), and now that Halloween has been and gone, I can finally whack on Bing Crosby and enjoy the Winter 2011 fashion. You can never have too many chunky fair isle knits stuffed into the winter wardrobe, but when hitting up the dance floor and knocking back the mulled wine, they're not exactly ideal. A shimmering gold sequin garment however; absolutely perfect! Now, for all the irresponsible drunks that neck the triple vodkas and spend most of the night on the floor (university students in particular), these items of clothing won't last five minutes. A plain Primark T-shirt and a can of glitter spray is a cheaper and much more practical solution. For the sophisticated party-goer, who embraces the annual festivities and wants to shimmy around glistening like a christmas tree; get these in your life!

Jumperlicious

Now, I LOVE a good jumper. With my onesie collection underway and my mulled wine Yankee Candles purchased, I am well and truly getting in the festive spirit. Ok, so its slightly early, but my 2011 jumper collection has been undergoing construction for a good couple of months now, and due to the highly anticipated chilly weather, I can finally don the Autumn/Winter wardrobe without completely overheating and spending my days feeling moist. The high street is currently packed wall-to-wall with gorgeous Autumnal jumpers, and once again I am completely out of control. Every year the urge to cram my wardrobe full of brand new jumpers ready for the winter months dawns upon me. The fact is, I don't need a fine-knit oversized H&M jumper in cream, caramel, chestnut-brown, taupe, petrol-blue, burgundy, raspberry-red and mustard; but to cater for any occasion and play it completely safe, I have naturally gone for the full package. Yes, in the space of a month I now officially own H&M's knitwear section. As Christmas draws closer *resists urge to whack on Bing Crosby* I will undoubtedly be on the hunt for the ultimate festive knit.
